It is this week! On Friday, September 6, Maple Dale will honor those important people in our lives who love us and help us grow. This could be a grandparent or a special person.
Students can invite a grandparent(grandparents) or a person who is special to them to school. First graders ask their grandparent/special person to come from 12:00-1:00 on that day. Other grade levels have a different time. In the classroom, we will introduce our special person and do an activity. We might have time to read books. We will even eat a cookie!
Let me know if your child will not have a grandparent or special person attend that day so I can make arrangements to hook your child up with a family or a volunteer.
