We will study the book, The Pout-Pout Fish, as part of our Social Studies and Reading units. It is a fun book to read. Students will discuss the main character, Pout-Pout Fish, and his character traits. We will notice how he changed in the book. We will give our opinion as to what we think the author's message is. I'm sure Room 103 will have some great ideas! We will made connections to the story when we write responses to "I pout when I"...and "I am happy when I"...
We will do some directed drawing to create Pout-Pout Fish and Kiss-Kiss Fish. You have to check out this song on you tube...the kids will love it! Click on the video below to enjoy!
