Hooray! Our Field Trip Is In March!!

We will go on Friday, March 27. We will visit and learn about three habitats at Rowe Woods.
We will visit and learn about three habitats at Rowe Woods. The forest is one. We will roll logs to observe what is living in the logs.

Wonder what we will do?  Rowe Woods explains the field trip as:

Local Plants and Animals
Students observe examples of local plants and animals in various life stages.
They explore the pond, field, and forest and learn about the
physical and behavioral adaptations of plants and
animals in each.

After spring break, we will spend two weeks learning more about Rowe Woods and the habitats we will visit during our Science time. We have books to help us study all three habitats and we have field guide papers to help us learn which animals can survive in those habitats. We will learn about composting and decomposing animals, too.

Look for our field trip letter to come home. You will give permission for your child to attend, fill out health information, and send in money.  Our class attend on Friday, March 27 all day. Kids will need a drink and packed lunch. Thank you!
